The View

In an effort to make sure that no one is disappointed, we want to make it clear that the carriage house is located in the middle of the property and not directly on the waterfront.  While there are lake views from several large windows most of the time during the year, it is possible that at times foliage and tree growth may block a view that is there during other times in the year.

However, you have some use of the waterfront proper and the lake view shown is what you see from the dock and lawn area.  In addition, there is a small park about 150 feet away as the crow flies with lawn, a beach and picnic tables.

Bedroom

The bedroom features a wireless access workstation, storage and hanging closet, and a queen size bed. It also has zoned lighting as do all areas of the residence.

On the lake …

The lake is stocked with thousands of trout each year and is one of the cleanest lakes in the area – much used for fishing, especially in the winter months. There are also bass and crayfish in the lake.  There is an abundance of wildlife as well – otters, mink, racoons, ducks, geese, herons, hawks, eagles, and many other types of birds.

There is also a kayak, a pedal boat, a Sabot sailing dinghy as well as wind surfers.  



Dining Room

The dining room has views of the lake from 2 of the windows.  In addition, the TV can be rotated to be seen from the dining room and kitchen.

 

Kitchen

 The kitchen features 3 dimmable lighting zones, stainless appliances including a ceramic top stove, large microwave, toaster oven, hand mixer, stainless coffee maker and kettle, as well as all other basic utensils, cooking dishes and service dishes.
